Macro Buttons Keybinding Sees Wrong Key

I have selected Alt+V as an exclusive keybinding to turn on and off VBAN output to my local network in the Macro Keys application. Every once in a while Macro Buttons begins detecting V as a valid key and other applications can't see the V key anymore. I can fix it by toggling Alt+V on and off but it does appear to be an infrequently occurring bug.

you mean the exclusive mode is expected to be applicable on ALT+V only (not just 'V') ?

Yes, if I have selected

it should ignore the V key when it's not pressed with the Alt key.
