FYI, I upgraded to the latest version of potato 3.0.0.8 and I purchased the Cables C & D. I've noticed when I use Cable D to play my browser audio I tend to get a fair amount of popping/crackling.
I've tried all the standard things (confirming sample rates, etc..) and Cable C seems to work fine. Anyway, just thought it was strange but given I don't really need the additional cable but just want to keep supporting you as I can, I'm not going to try to uninstall/reinstall, but just wanted to let you know.
Thanks for all you do!

Check your internal latency and samplerate for the Cable -D
we recommend 44100 or 48000 Hz and 7168 samples

Yep. First thing I checked. I have everything at 44100 and sample rate is 7168.

Re: Cable D crackling issues...
then increase the internal latency (16k)
there is no reason to see the CABLE-D having different behavior than CABLE-C
