ASIO Patch Insert. Option to mute lines when inactive

Could an option to be added for activated patch insert lines to be muted, when there is no DAW connected to the Voicemeeter ASIO insert device?

I am using the insert to add effect and also do gain adjustments to the incoming signal using an external midi device. However when the DAW is not connected for whatever reason, this can lead to very loud sound output, since the unprocessed signal is passed through at full volume by Voicemeeter.

if no DAW is connected to the Virtual ASIO Insert, the INSERT PATCH is ignored and the input signal is coming in each input strip as there was no insert. What you could do is a macro button to lower or mute the inputs you want to mute...
