MIDI to VBAN Stream Problem

Hello,

I am still very new to Voicemeeter Banana and MIDI devices. My question is about streaming audio using VBAN and the MIDI to VBAN application. I have included a screenshot of what I have done. The goal is to be able to play my piano and have it has an input on Voicemeeter. Could anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or what I am forgetting? Thanks in advance!

if you have a MIDI device, you may directly select it in the Voicemeeter MIDI mapping.

Otherwise you may convert your MIDI to VBAN thanks to the VBAN2MIDI app
and send it to your Voicemeeter PC and receive the stream in the MIDI1 serial stream of the VBAN Dialog box.

but you may switch ON the stream and call it with the right name "MIDI1"... if you call your stream "Piano" , you may rename it in Voicemeeter VBAN Dialog box "MIDI1" to "Piano".

I have done what you have recommended but I'm still not sure what steps I am missing. What do I do after this step? Isn't there supposed to be a little green light next to the stream's IP address? Thanks for the help so far too!

i see nothing on your picture... but i can say you that you have not to enter an IP From for the incomin MIDI stream.

So like this (see the attachment)? The incoming stream window doesn't show any of the serial data coming in like the one shown on the VBAN2MIDI window. I feel like I'm still messing up on something. Thanks for all your help so far!

are you sending the MIDI stream to the right IP -Address ?... this is the information i cannot see on your picture.

Gosh, I'm so dumb. You are right, it was the wrong address. Thanks! I am getting the data now. Now, how do I put that as an input into voicemeeter?

you have the IP-Host address of Voicemeeter displayed on the top of the VBAN Dialog box.
