Hello,
Firstly, thank you for allowing me to join the forums. I am a part-time local radio presenter with an online station and I am looking to continue doing so from home. I have no experience of using Voicemeeter but have managed so far to setup a USB microphone and the Voicemeeter VAIO fader allows me to adjust the volume of the music playing through my computer, which is perfect.
I’m trying to connect my phone so that I can voice/video call my co-host (using an AUX cable if this is appropriate). My laptop doesn’t have a microphone in slot and the headphone slot is used for my headphones so I can hear the music. I purchased a USB External Stereo Sound Adapter (see link below) and tried connecting my phone to both the green headphone and pink microphone slots on it via an aux cable. I changed hardware input 2 to Microphone (USB Audio Device) but I couldn’t hear anything coming from the computer. In fact, the only way I could hear anything from the phone through the computer was by changing the playback device in Windows Sounds settings from Voicemeeter Input to Speakers (USB Audio Device) – unfortunately this resulted in my Windows music player (Spotify) failing to play music!
Is what I’m trying to do possible? If not, is there a good workaround?

Re: Audio in from phone?
Please, send a screenshot of Voicemeeter (a png file as attachment).
With VoiceMeeter Input set as default Windows Playback device and with incoming audio signals.

Hello,
Thanks for the reply, I have taken a screenshot. The forum returns an error where the attachment is too large to upload (despite it being under 300KB) so I've uploaded it at the link below. I wasn't entirely sure what you meant by "and with incoming audio signals" - if I'm missing anything please let me know.
Thanks

Play audio on your phone and play also audio in Windows (audio player, Spotify, whatever - anything that can/should feed VoiceMeeter Input).thejinkazama wrote:I wasn't entirely sure what you meant by "and with incoming audio signals"

Looking at your screenshot, it seems as if there are no input signals at all (no HW Input, no Virtual Input).
Do you have any app (active in background) that uses Voicemeeter Insert Virtual ASIO driver (a DAW or any VST host)?
