Potato - high CPU usage

Post by tokiodreamy »

I recently installed and setup VMP on my two PC streaming setup. I noticed that Potato uses 20-23% CPU constantly on my gaming PC, but peaks at 5% usage on my streaming PC. I tried searching for a solution, but couldn't find anything. Let me know if you need more information. Thanks in advance!

(I just noticed that I didn't have my Elgato capture card on when I took the screenshot. Oops! Let me know if you need me to have it on with a new screen shot)

usually due to unexpected waiting cycle in the audio driver stack.
check your device in output A2 for example, seems there is an error there.
