Failed to create audio file

When I try to use the recorder, I get the following flashing error message on the recorder progress line..."Failed to create audio file".

All other functions are working fine.

wow ! did you check the target disk ?
could you send a screen shot of the Recorder Option Dialog Box (see Voicemeeter Menu) ?

Thanks for your response.

Target was set to "Users\...\Documents\Voicemeeter".

Changed target to a temporary folder on a different hard drive. Recording worked...no error message.

Changed target back to the original default "Users\...\Documents\Voicemeeter". Works with that target now. Weird

This happened to me as well.

One day it was working... then stopped.. the path is there.. I changed to a temp path, then it started to work.. attempting to change it back to the original and it fails to create the audio file.
