I had a long standing issue for a while and I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix it :
Basically on my setup I have Chrome default output device changed to CABLE Input (in Windows sound settings), but every time I reboot audio is not going through there for some reason (even though it's still the correct device selected).
Every reboot I have to change the output device to something else and then back to CABLE Input for it to work.
Weirdly I don't think I ever ran into that issue with the other program I routed into cable output (like Spotify or VLC).

Re: Chrome audio device
This has nothing to do with Voicemeeter or the virtual Cables, you have to blame Microsoft for that. Windows is responsible for re-assigning the audio devices to the applications after a reboot.
I also have this issue with Edge, for Chrome it works fine here (and for most other applications, too).
