I experience a strange cut of the vital portion of Voicemeeter Potato window. My laptop's screen is too small (1366x768) to render the entire Voicemeeter window. This is what I get sometimes:
On the right side, one can see an underlying Chrome window with some page opened and on the bottom right side of the picture, the usual icons of Windows OS are shown. Since the screen resolution is quite low, in order to operate Potato I must move the window around the screen.
On occasion (usually when the audio engine stops and I have to restart it), I get surprised by what you can see above. No "menu" button and can't perform anything except shutting down Potato completely and restarting it from scratch. Did anyone of you experience anything like that?
Potato window render issue
Re: Potato window render issue
Try going into Voicemeeter Potato properties and change the scaling behavior.
Re: Potato window render issue
Thank you. I will play with these settings to see if any of them help.
Re: Potato window render issue
I use a 1920x1080 screen and this is what helped me.
Re: Potato window render issue
Does it mean you set up the scaling as in your snippet (two posts up)?
I set up the same on my laptop and have yet to see if it changes anything in my case.

Re: Potato window render issue
Yes. Just like the picture. Override high DPI scaling behavior is checked and "application" is selected from drop-down menu. Just make sure it's for Potato and not the others (ie., it needs to be the Potato executable or the shortcut to it). You could also try "system" and "system enhanced". I also have scale and layout set to 150% in Windows display properties. You can check that setting as well, but I fixed it with the above solution.
Re: Potato window render issue
OK, thank you so much for this confirmation. I set up my Potato with the same settings and so far so good. Have not seen a truncated Potato window since. Will see if the issue is gone.
Re: Potato window render issue
The issue re-appeared. I believe I have the scenario: if I minimize the Potato window, lock the console and let the laptop run for long enough, the free evaluation period ends and I get a prompt after a countdown. The window gets brought up on the desktop automatically. But it is truncated (as I described in my initial post). I will try to re-create it with the window left on the desktop (i.e. not minimized).

Do you mean "Lock Graphic User Interface"? So you minimize the program and the license reminder brings it back up but truncated? I'm not able to duplicate what you did. Mine is registered so I don't get the popups any longer. The program is cheap enough to buy, and it might solve your particular problem by not popping up and resizing the window.
Re: Potato window render issue
Yes, I should have been more precise - I locked the desktop (or GUI, same thing). After unlocking I found the Potato window on top of the stack (Potato window in focus - registration pop-up on top of it). The window turned out to be truncated on the most important side (the right side).
Also, yes, I agree - I will register. In fact, I did register one of the previous Voicemeeter versions, but on a different computer. The registration is per-system, so I have to think where I want to have Potato registered. I hope there will be no more truncating in any other scenario just because the window is larger than the available display area.
