Hello,
I've been testing HiFi Cable. After Installation I've had two (!) virtual input and output. I was thinking, it's normal but then had a routing problem between VB Hifi Cable and Zoom.
For this reason I thought, best would be to re install. After executing the VB audio installer one in and one out endpoint has been removed, the one with the leading "2-" but the other one is still there.
The installer still reports Asio Bridge and HIFI Cable are already installed. So everything gotr partially removed but now stucks in the middle.
I've tried several times and also executed it as administrator and did a reboot each time. No change yet. Also I can see it in the sound settings :
Could someone tell how to proceed please, I am somehow trapped and can't get back or forth.
What I was trying to set up was 2 channels one for Keyboard -> OBS and then from OBS -> Zoom. I was thinking, based on the description, HiFi Cable is made for this.
Thanks in advance for your kind support and best regards,
Guido
Can not un-install Virtual HIFI Cable
Re: Can not un-install Virtual HIFI Cable
Hi Guido. Hi-Fi Cable installer puts some files in this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\VB\ASIOBridge. When you run the uninstaller it should delete all files from that folder (except for the installer itself). Is it currently empty?
You can also check Voicemeeter (also from VB-Audio) to try to solve your audio routing needs.

Re: Can not un-install Virtual HIFI Cable
you may re-install it correctly, because it appears with the wrong icon.

Re: Can not un-install Virtual HIFI Cable
Ok so followed the recommendation from Vincent:
device manager looks like this:
I de- installed both entries, after that, prior re- boot it looks like this:
Re- boot -> they are back, screenshot 1. A refresh after de- installation leads to the same.
I do not manage to get rid of them.

Re: Can not un-install Virtual HIFI Cable
Hi Guido. In addition to the Audio inputs and outputs devices, uninstall the VB-Audio Hi-Fi Cable controller. It is located under Sound, video and game controllers. Windows should ask you to reboot your computer.

Confirmed, worked. After uninstalling the Controller it was gone. Thanks!
