I use Voicemeeter and Cubase together and experience again and again that the audio connection between Voicemeeter and Cubase is "lost". I.e. I get no sound from Cubase when VM's ASIO driver is selected. One moment it still works, the other moment it doesn't work anymore.
The sound in all other programs works.
Resetting the audio engine in Voicemeeter doesn't do anything.
Changing the ASIO driver in Cubase and in the Windows system to the Steinberg ASIO driver (I use a UR24C) usually helps.
But then other things I use VM for don't work anymore.
What can be the reason?
Is it a Cubase or Voicemeeter problem?
How can I solve this permanently?

be sure to use last version:

and post screenshot to explain your configuration / audio path.

Thx, Vincent.
I installed the latest version as You suggested and made the following video of the configuration:

Re: Cubase suddenly no sound with VM ASIO
Thanks for the video;
As far as I see, when you play Cubase, we can see the incoming signal coming in Voicemeeter Virtual AUX input
and go in four assigned BUS A1, A2, B1, B2 (meaning you should also get the sound in OBS, if connected to voicemeeter virtual output).
So the problem is maybe in the audio device selection for A1, A2, A3... be sure to have not selected the same audio device through different audio interface otherwise you may get unexpected problem with audio.
if your problem remains, post a screenshot of Voicemeeter System settings dialog box.
