In some cases, you could be not able to enable Spatial Sound Format (e.g. Dolby Atmos) in our Virtual Audio Playback Devices (whatever the version).
This is due to different other applications that can prevent to use this option.
Some Asus realtek drivers (especially with the sonic radar stuff) contain Nahimic or other audio stuff that block access to the spatial audio for other audio device like Voicemeeter Virtual Input (or VB-CABLE, Matrix Virtual Input, etc...).
One Solution is to uninstall all asus/realtek audio software (just keep the driver, without additional software suite).
Spatial Sound Format cannot be selected / enabled

I had the same problem, the solution was:
- Uninstall all Asus & Realtek software packages.
- Download DDU
- Select the safemode uninstaller
- In safemode select audio drivers and Realtek.
This will not remove Nahimic but will terminate the link that blocks the spatial audio option.
