MS Teams crashes when [Audio] Device dialog is opened

I just tried the Matrix and could see VAIO (1) working in both directions, but since there was no application using the output of VAIO device, I tried Teams to see if the stream would go to its input. Sadly, upon opening Settings/Devices and seeing the default devices for several seconds Teams ultimately crashes and restarts. Maybe it gets overwhelmed with this high number of audio devices (physical + 8 virtual VAIO's)? I shall try disabling unused VAIO's to see if it makes a difference, or VAIOs / Matrix in general are somehow offending to Teams.
