My DBX 286S has died and I need to get a new compressor/ gate for My Shure SM7B. Someone recommended a DAW called preSonUs studio 1.
How do I set up my VM potato to use wit DAW as mic compressor/ gate?

the best inter-connection with a DAW and Voicemeeter Banana or potato is to connect the DAW to a Voicemeeter Virtual ASIO driver.
Or the Virtual INSERT if you want to get all pre-fader inputs into your DAW and use Voicemeeter as MIXER (there is a POST-FX option in System Settings Dialog box).
Or a Virtual ASIO driver realated to Voicemeeter Virtual input and B BUS
