Where can I find more information about this GPIO breakout module?
I'd like to know what options exist for using the GPIO functionality in the macro buttons software. For example there are a few breakouts available from Adafruit that are inexpensive; I don't know if the software requires some specific protocol and/or hardware.

In that case, I assume these aren't going to be available or not at a reasonable price. Overseas shipping isn't cheap.
Is there a way to use the GPIO feature with commodity parts, like the ones I provided as examples or otherwise? There are only so many keys / key combinations I can use in the software before I just don't have anything left that won't conflict with everyday software. GPIO would be an extension of the "keyspace."
