Question about ASIO buffer

Does Voicemeeter with, for example, enabled Virtual Inserts work within one ASIO buffer? If I have an audio device on A1 with buffer size 128 samples and vst host utilizing Virtual Inserts have 128 samples in options too, then do I have latency of 128+128 samples or is it still 128 samples?

our virtual ASIO driver work with the same samplerate and buffer size than the Voicemeeter main stream.
in term of latency they add one buffer only. if 128 samples for the main stream, any applications connected to a virtual ASIO driver will add another buffer (so 128 + 128).
