Output issues with VB-Cable

After the latest windows update I've been having some issues with hearing things when utilizing the audio cable for splitting.

Before it would not pass through any sound (voice calls, spotify etc). I tried tinkering again with it today and now I can hear voice calls and spotify, and the audio split works perfectly. However, now it is not passing through sound from browsers. When I swap to my original default speaker, the sound works so I know it's not anything related to my computer.

you may re-install the VB-CABLE in some Win update case:
