Just for example I watched VoiceMeeter tutorial on YouTube. Output playback device in Control Panel sets to my USB headset. All applications inputs and outputs set to default.
Each time I run VoiceMeeter Banana all sounds in Windows completely disappearing and something goes wrong.
I have recorded a short video to demonstrate the behavior: https://imgur.com/a/QHS64Tc (have the sound). What you can see happens with YouTube also happens with all other applications.
But this happens only when A1 hardware out sets to WDM. All goes right with MME.
OS: Windows 10 Pro 21H1 19043.1348
VoiceMeeter: latest from website 2.0.6.1
How to fix it?
Audio renderer error each time VoiceMeeter is running

Yes sure! that's why we recommend as first step, to set Voicemeeter Virtual Input as default playback device.
thanks to watch our video tutorial: https://youtu.be/ZXKDzYXS60o
EXPLANATION IS SIMPLE:
If Voicemeeter uses your output device in exclusive mode (that can be the case with WDM / KS interface) no other application will be able to use this device anymore.
MME audio interface is using device in SHARE mode, that's why other application can continue to playback audio in this same device.
