Tape option separate tracks and recording limits

I have sound coming in through Input one and Voicemeeter Aux. For some reason when I set the Tape option to 4 channels it doesn't record separate tracks only input one is recorded. If I change the tape option to 6 channels both inputs are recorded. Also for some reason a limit shows up when I record. I would like to use the 4 channel option to record. I have included screens of all my settings.
