I started posting this in the OBS forum but they suggested that I come here.

I'm somewhat new to OBS in that I use it but I don't often set it up. We are trying to replace a windows 10 desktop with a Windows 11 laptop. To do this I've
Installed the Virtual Audio Cable
Installed OBS studio
Exported the scene JSON from the old computer and copied it and the supporting files to the new computer
configured lyrics+.lua
I am having troubles with the output of the VBCable going to zoom. The following is my setup and test. If someone could point out what I've missed I would greatly appreciate it.

Closing video goes to monitor and output


Monitoring device is set to the cable under audio and advanced

I can see the audio go into the cable when I play the video

Cable input level is set to max in the control panel

The Cable output is set to listen but I get barely a signal when I play back the video

I get more response from the sound feeding back into the microphone than the actual audio device
Zoom doesn't even twitch


I ran the VBDeviceCheck program and the cable/driver seems to be installed correctly

What am I missing?

Any hints articles to read etc would be greatly appreciated. I've reached the limit of what I know to search for
