MIDI control for presets

I'm trying to use MIDI learning to switch from one preset to another.

Mapping the following (for example): #1 Note On C6 (96) to "Preset[01).Apply toggles "unapply preset" which de-routes everything. Triggering the same command again selects the required preset.

Is this by design or am I doing it wrong?

Could you post a screenshot of you MIDI mapping dialog box ? I see no behavior problem with NOTE ON/OFF MIDI control.
