Hi and thank you for adding me to the forum.

Does 'Exclusive Mode' work with VB-Audio Matrix? I am using Tidal (and starting to use Roon) and I cannot get automatic sample rate switching when using VB-Audio Matrix. I can get sound through Matrix but the sample rate stays fixed.

The reason I am using VB-Audio Matrix is because I want to add my Sonarworks room correction plugin as a VST. To do this, I am using VB-Audio Matrix to create a loop back and then using a program called Hang Loose Host to enable me to use the VST. The method is described here:-

It allows sound to go through perfectly and I can apply my Sonarworks VST which is great but..... it does not allow automatic sample rate switching. Hang Loose Host supports this. Is this a restriction within VB-Audio Matrix or am I doing something wrong here?

VB-Audio matrix main sample rate (used by the audio engine) is given by the master device (the slot set as Master).

and it is not expected to change without restarting the audio engine.

the HIHI Cable + ASIO bridge was maybe more capable to do that if i remember well... to be checked
