Dear audiophiles,
The use case is this ;
For streaming on desk PC games i use my Audio interface (Steinberg ur mk 2 as input), for free roam streaming VR games i use the Meta quest 3 headset (Virtual desktop audio) and in the future I'll have another microphone for streaming Racing games on a sim rig.
Is there a way to make a stereo input the default windows recording device?
That way, whenever i turn on my headset/other microphone, it saves me from having to select it manually in Voicemeeter.
I agree, it is a bit lazy, but it's also due to me being forgetful, and getting this old chunk of coal body mass out of a racing sim rig to go to my PC to manually swap stereo inputs hurts my stamina more than i have to admit...
Hope anyone has a direct answer or a possible workaround, thanks for using your brainpower on my question anyway!
Any way to make a stereo input the default windows recording device?
