Change Sample Rate via Macro Button - not working?

I can't seem to get Banana (v2.1.1.1) to change its 'Preferred Main SampleRate' via a Macro button (v1.1.1.1). It gives no error but does not appear to do anything. I've tried different variations and still no luck. Anyone get this to work?
