Voicemeterin X Plane 12

Afternoon,
I hope i explain this correctly.
I am using voicemeter potato to direct certain sounds or radio to headsets and external speakers.I have the headsets (assigned to A1 & A2) working I believe correctly for my Air Traffic Control (say intentions) connection on the 2 headsets and for my discord. I am trying to route all x plane sounds to my external speakers (environmental,internal and external, pilot announcements etc.) I assign my external Realtek speakers in A3 but the sounds work sometimes and the volume is hard to control. Should I be using virtual cables in this kind of setup?

Is anyone using this application with x plane 12 and splitting audio between headsets and external speakers?
