Banana closes periodically...

I'm not saying "crashes" because I've never seen it close, there is no obvious pattern to it and no evidence in the event logs. I use Voicemeeter on both my big desktop PC and my laptop. Both PCs are running Windows 11 Pro - fully licensed and fully updated. I run Potato on the desktop and Banana on the laptop - V2.1.2.2 64 bit in each case. The desktop is absolutely stable - it remains booted for days, even weeks with no issues and Voicemeeter is always there. The laptop runs fine, but I often wake it up in the morning and find that Voicemeeter is no longer running.

As I say, I've never seen any error message and it has never stopped working while I'm using the laptop. Initially, I wondered if I had closed it without realizing it, but it seems to happen quite frequently when I leave the computer alone overnight. The laptop is a new MS Surface Laptop Studio with 16GB of memory. The desktop is a slightly older home-made machine with an AMD 5700 processor and 48GB of memory.

Does Voicemeeter maintain any kind of log file? Is there any additional diagnostics that I can capture? It's not a disaster - just annoying. I'm not broadcasting or anything like that - I'm a radio ham with multiple radios that interface to multiple applications running on the PCs and Voicemeeter is there to route audio between them all and balance levels etc. I've been using Voicemeeter in this context for several years now, so I am pretty familiar with it.

well, i note to add a log on start and stop audio engine and run and shutdown for the next version. Will see what's happening.

I've been a long-time user of Voicemeeter and it is a lovely program. This is not a show-stopper, but it can be irritating. I don't see a pattern to it - I've never actually seen it close - I just pick up the laptop after a period of inactivity and find that Voicemeeter has closed.
