So I finally figured out what is causing the problem with WDM and microphones
It all has to do with the noise gate
If the noise gate is off, I have zero issues indefinitely
If noise gate is on, after 2-4 hours the sound gives out and it starts pulsing on/off rapidly, like some weird reverb
REstarting Banana fixes it for another 2-4 hours till it fails again.
If mic is in MME mode, it works forever without issue even with noise gate on or off.
Figured out the flaw with WDM and Microphones

well, this is strange, because it is the description of the possible problem caused by WDM Input Exclusive Mode option...
anyway, i will check the gate too.
please, let me know the Voicemeeter Version
and if you can, post a screenshot of your system settings dialog box (see in Voicemeeter menu).

2.2.2.3
I'll try taking off exclusive mode, but prior I had no issues with it before windows 10

Also I had to increase the wdm sample rate cause SBZ and MXL mic both exceed 512 all the time causing static.
*EDIT1*
Nope, Mic in WDM mode after 6+ hours failed again, and full of static

ha, could you make the test with option Engine Mode = Normal ?
Other possibility:
select your speaker as output A1 and Elgato device as output A2 (Output A1 is giving the master stream and might be connected to physical device).
Last option: install back the official version 2.0.1.1 (don't forget to reboot after de-installation and after installation) and perform the same test...
