Hello, I've have banana up and running for quite a while on a windows 10 computer. I was using the tape deck feature to play mp3s over Skype. Recently (well, a month or two ago actually) the tape deck started to exhibit strange behavior:
When I play certain mp3s that I've created with audacity, that play just fine with vlc, the audio 'skips'. It's bad enough that I've had to switch to playing the tracks via vlc, but I prefer it to be tightly integrated like the tape deck.
I think the problem showed up after a windows update but not sure.

Re: Problem with tape deck in banana
you can try the very last Voicemeeter version just coming today (see other topic on this forum) to see if the problem is still there...
otherwise we invite you to send to us an example of audio file to let us reproduce the problem...

Sorry for delay in response, I forgot to check the notification on replies.
I tried the latest banana, and it exhibited the same problem. I think it is likely to be something in my mp3 settings in audacity, but I need help figuring out what to change. I am sending you an mp3 that gives me trouble (was not able to upload as attachment so sending in email).

i guess our player mp3 decoder does not support non standard kbps:
32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 80, 96, 112, 128, 160, 192, 224, 256, 320 kbps
I will take a look on this problem soon...
