I hope this is a simple question and answer. I want to have my DAW process the input signal from my mic(s). I have a Presonus 1818vsl. What I want to do is have all my DAW inputs processed thru my DAW and then picked up by voicemeter thru the virtual input so it then can be sent to OBS. Does my question make sense?

the good way is to use Voicemeeter BAnana as a mixing console by connecting all to it.
you connect its output A1 to your main audio board (Presonus) in ASIO mode prefered,
and you connect your DAW to Voicemeeter virtual ASIO driver.
you MIC can be connected to Voicemeeter too..

Then you can MIX everthing and output to monitoring of course (output A1)
and to Virtual outputs: BUS B1 or B2 where you connect your capture application (Voicemeeter virtual output or AUX output)
