Blue Yeti crashes when audio devices are changed

Hi,
First I just want to say sorry because this whole post was initially written for Blue, but I have a feeling it's a windows or voicemeeter problem.
I've had some problems with my Blue Yeti for a long time now and have tried to fix them on multiple occasions.
I'm currently trying to find more things that triggers my problems so I'm sorry if I'm listing up things. I'm listing it like this because it's the order of which I'm testing.
The problems I had earlier, that I never managed to fix is that after getting everything set up, and using the mic for a few minutes it would suddenly crash the audio driver. Or at least that's what I think happens. The symptoms are: Mic not picking up sound anymore, light on mic is still on, audio level "visualiser" on windows shows the level of when it crashed.
The problem that I have now is that whenever I select my Blue Yeti mic in Voicemeeter Banana, the same happens as it did in the previous problem.
I haven't seen the first problem in a long time since I ended up using a different mic for a while, and with the problem I have now it's never on long enough to crash by itself (if it would).
I have recently formatted my computer and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling audio drivers, the mic, and voicemeeter.
I can get the mic to work with the software but only if it's the only audio input device selected.
The Blue Yeti doesn't just stop/crash when I select it in voicemeeter, but also if I select other audio devices in voicemeeter. For example, I can make the yeti work on windows and see the green bar move, but if I inside voicemeeter add my headsets mic to the program, the yeti stops, even if the yeti isn't in the program at the time. This problem continues to surprise me.
I have taken a screenshot of the settings screen in voicemeeter https://imgur.com/hrL91Eb
Thank you so much for reading so far and if you have anything at all that I can try then please tell me.
