192000Hz

So I know I'm not like a dolphin or anything, but there is any reason I can't set the preferred main sample rate to 192000Hz?
In theory a lot of my audio hardware supports this, and I have a few pairs of really nice headphones plugged into a fairly nice audio interface. I've noticed that if I actually set the sample rate in Windows to 192000 for both the Aux and VAIO lines, I seem to see their sample rate changes inside the cable adjuster app (even there's no official way in the dropdown menu to set them that high), but it doesn't actually change on the app itself (possibly because it's limited by the actual internal preferred rate?). I'm also hesitant to leave it like that, because I don't know if there's actually any point if the internal preferred rate is half of that, and I don't know if there will be any performance issues that will come out of it.
