Voicemeeter not autostarting - after reinstall not working any longer

Hey folks,

so since about a week my voicemeeter would not autostart, even though the checkbox to start on start-up was enabled and it was also in the autostart folder in windows 10. It showed also as 'enabled' in the startup tab on the task manager.

I went ahead and uninstalled it, rebooted, ran ccleaner over it, reinstalled it and rebooted again.

Now my previous configuration does not work any longer. It won't show up in autostart folder/task manager, it does not autostart and even though I've selected my soundcard as hardware output (same as before) it won't give any output. In fact the entry in windows sound settings is voicemeeter input (vb audio voicemeeter vaio), while before it was voicemeeter input (asus xonar dx audio device)

What's happening here?

Forgot to mention, after reinstalling it's still not autostarting.

ha it's maybe because it's bad defined,
you may go in voicemeeter menu to de-activate System Tray (run on startup) and re-activate it maybe.

Already did, no difference.

but you have re-installed the version 1.0.6.4 or the last 1.0.6.5 in from our last potato package 3.0.0.5 ?
because the Voicemeeter Standard from this last package does not work.
