Voicemeeter MacroButtons issue

I've been running Macro Buttons 1.0.2.4, and having no issues with it. However, I noticed that whenever I choose the Vista Basic Color Scheme (under Personalization->Window Color and Appearance), Macro Buttons (1.0.2.4) takes a couple of seconds to close the window, though it closes immediately in Aero. I know Vista's not being supported but I'm wondering if the Basic color scheme in Windows 7 or later may have a similar issue.
