Feature Request: Smart Volume Control

It would be nice to be able to specify that, for example, when there is sound coming in from Virtual Input 1, that Hardware Input 3 would be made quieter. I often listen to music while talking to people and it would be nice if my music were made quieter automatically instead of me having to fiddle with the volume. Thanks in advance. :D

you can do that with te MacroButtons... see user manual about auto ducking page 36:

That's a great solution, but it isn't smart, because the volume will be ducked entirely as soon as the trigger is triggered even just a little bit. I would like the volume to be reduced based on the volume that is coming in.

you want a side chain compressor or sidechain ducker in fact...
the gain is then reduced according a sidechain signal threshold and ratio...
not present in Voicemeeter...
