VB Audiodevicenames resetting after reboot

Hi, since Potatoe 3.0.0.6/.7 the names of the VB Audiodevices beeing resetted to defaultname after reboot. Other audiodevicenames stay changed.
Allready did a "cleanreinstall" (deleting folders ans regkeys) but the issue still exists.
Any idea how to fix it?
Win10 1809 btw.

sorry, this is a new feature.
The driver reset its own icon and pin name on Windows Startup.
This is to prevent WIN10 update to install our drivers and reset the pin name to default "Speaker" and Windows icon.
This is also made to avoid user to create confusion (for example by settings same pin name on different devices).

Oh .. good to know
it was a bit easier to find the right device with a präfix in some applications. But now I can stop searching what's going wrong. Thanks....

Hey Vincent,
is this feature "broken" since 1903? All my VB-Audio cables are called "speaker" and have that default icon. Even if I rename them and choose a new Icon, my changes staying after reboot.

this ie currently implemented on Voicemeeter virtual I/O only (next will be new VB-CABLE C+D) ...
