Microphone senitivity issue

I have a Blue Yeti and when I attach it to Voicemeeter it becomes ultra-sensitive. You can hear EVERYTHING every lip smack, breathing, background noise and keypress. Without Voicemeeter it sounds great. Is there some kind of gain boost built into Voicemeeter that you can disable? I really want to use this program for a dual computer streaming setup but this is a major roadblock.

this parameter is in the Windows Sound Dialog Box -> Advanced properties -> input gain.

I am aware of where the gain settings are in Windows, but all other programs I use don't make my mic super sensitive. It feels like Voicemeeter boosts the gain already applied by Windows. I really want to use this program but this mic issue is holding me back from purchasing it and the extra virtual cables.

if the INTELLIPAN is in neutral position (double click to reset it to neutral position).
if COMP and GATE are set to ZERO
if the Gain Slider if set to ZERO dB
your microphone sound should not be modified and should sound as usual.

The other possible difference can come from the audio interface used:
WDM, KS , MME or Direct ASIO (if you selected ASIO device as output A1).
if using direct ASIO, the gain could depends on your ASIO devices and possible related interface (ASIO mixer if any).

if using WDM interface, you may have different level in share mode (per default) or input exclusive mode (not recommended option in voicemeeter system setting option dialog box). Because in share mode the input level is also pending on Windows Volume Mixer...
