Trouble with 2 pc streaming

I have corsair rgb wireless headset aka usb wireless dongle on my gaming rig.
Streaming rig is simple with capture card and Samson go mic.
I attempted to use the quality of the Go mic and Vban back to the gaming rig so that I could use the better voice quality in the games themselves.
In game voice was horrible and no one could hear me. they said it was very crackly and noisy in spite of doing a test recording which was great.
So setup is this:
Game box with wireless headset and mic - VB Banana for mic and game sound to B1
Stream box - VB banana with mic going to B1 and B2 which is vban back to gaming rig.
Nothing too complicated but just doesn't seem to get good sound quality in the game itself.
