Bluetooth Headset, not working automatically

Post by eusi »

Hi,

I am using VOICEMETER Banana 2.0.4.7 and a WH-1000XM3 Bluetooth Headset (with Bluetooth Dongle).

By default, Bluetooth Headset and PC speakers are selected in VOICEMETER:

When I start my computer, the Headset is off by default. If I turn it on, then I cannot hear any sound via Headset.

I always have to click on the A2 and click on the already selected "KS: WH-1000XM3 Stereo" again. Then it works.

I assume this "re-selection" refreshes the connection between VOICEMETER and the Bluetooth Headset. But is this also possible via an automatically approach?
If not from the VOICEMETER itslef, maybe something like: when the Headset goes active, I execute a batch script that refreshes the connection? Is something like this possible?

Best regards,
eusi

no, automatic approach is not possible, because we are not notified for device disconnection/reconnection/switch on/off...
the only automatic way is to set it as output A1 , and use the "Auto Restart Audio Engine " option in Voicemeeter Menu.

REM: re-selecting audio device = Restart Audio Engine (in Voicemeeter Menu).
