HYi Everybody,

I am having issues with my VR Gaming and using Voicemeeter..When I have Voicemeeter running in Elite Dangerous it crashes almost instantly once in game, I fly for a few seconds and it crashes..

When I turn Voicemeeter OFF I can fli in VR No Problems.. I am thinking it is the new version of SteamVR or WMR for SteamVR casuing the issues..
Now I used Voicemeeter since I had the headset and never had an issue until a day or two ago..

I was wondering what I can do to troubleshoot this further or find out exactly what is really going on here.. So I do know for a fact when VM is running Elite DAngerous Crashes all the time Without VM It works flawlessly..

here are my system specs:

1. Intel i5 7600 CPU
3. MSI Z270 SLI Motherboard..
3. Asus 1080GTX
4. SoundBlaster Z Soundcard
5. Thrustmaster Cougar Joystick USB.
6. Odyssey Plus VR Headset.
7. 24" Monitor oCosmo brand..
8. Buttkicker Simulation..

I also use Windows Mixed Reality for Steam VR and SteamVRE when using the VR HEadset with Steam Running.. I will double check the log files in SteamVR. I will also look for logs in Voicemeeter..

Well thank you and hopefully I can get this sorted..

you may check all your audio config, starting by a audio device conflict: for example check that Elite dangerous is not using the same device than Voicemeeter output A1... check what device is used by SteamVR... check your your default playback device, default recording device, default communication device etc...

and finally you may check your audio driver installation:

Hi Vincent,

It looks like it was a bad install/uninstall issue.. I followed the guide to remove Voicemeeter and voila it seems to be fine now.. I will continue to monitor and see if it crashes again but initial testting shows it is fine now after following those guides thank you..
