Hi,

while I seem to have understood the concept of connecting multiple inputs and outputs to Voicemeeter, I don't get it when I look at it from inside my DAW. Call me stupid,

, but I don't get the mapping.

Let me cycle through all the different Voicemeeter drivers and what it looks like when I select them in Cubase AI.
How do they map to the things inside Voicemeeter.
And why are Inputs and Outputs called the same name?
Is it because an input maps (normally) to the output with the same name?

Please help!

I think that Virtual ASIO, VAIO3 and AUX are of the same kind.
But what are those 8 inputs and outputs.
Most of the time I get no signal at all.

And it really becomes overwhelming when I look at Potato Insert and VM Insert. The Inserts seem to share a common complexity, too.

Voicemeeter Virtual I/O are also present as Virtual ASIO Driver (8 channel) as explained in the user manual page 14

the Voicemeeter Virtual ASIO Insert driver present all PRE-Fader inputs to connect a DAW to be used a multi track recorder or VST Host page 58.
