New user here, giving Potato a trial on my streaming machine. So far it's pretty much perfect for my needs. I am running into one technical concern however, and admittedly it's a pretty minor one, but I figured I'd ask here.
The app lists panel in the middle of the Virtual Inputs seems like it could be a pretty useful feature to me, but it gets quickly crowded with less-important apps. I'm looking to see if there is some setting or config or ini tweak that I can use to either hide specific apps from the list, or maybe specify which ones are given visual priority.
There are a few things I've observed contributing to the clutter. First, it seems to be ordered alphabetically, so Discord always lists before Firefox, which always lists before OBS, which always lists before Steam, and so on. If I want to stream something wherein I'm showing off something in VLC, for example, it is unlikely to show on the list if other apps are running.
Second, some specific apps appear once in every channel, and usually twice in one. Discord and Steam are the big offenders here, and I realize it's because they are programmed to attach to every mixer channel on a system, which is unfortunate. I've attached a screenshot showing what I mean.
Despite going through internally and assigning as many apps as I can to spread between VAIO, AUX, and VAIO3, the two issues above work together to make that mixer panel unusably cluttered.
My first assumption is that I'm most likely just doing something wrong. But barring that, is it possible to configure what displays there more personally? It'd be super awesome to use that panel for fine volume tuning.

I wanted to update to note that I've seen multiple other posts address the app duplicates. I'm aware it's not a Potato bug, and thankful for that. I've not seen much mention the alphabetical sorting though, and was hoping there was a good work-around or setting to have more manual control.

menu -> Restart audio engine should refresh the app list...
but this list is given by the Windows Volume Mixer, that can also be not very well refreshed...
when i've implemented this, i found several problems i reported to Microsoft. but they don't care, as usual.
