VoiceMeeter / VoiceMeeter Banana Not Getting Any Input

Hello,

I recently created a nice streaming setup on my old laptop. As this was quite resource intensive I decided to move it all to my macbook (bootcamp) on a new (external) SSD Windows 10 installation. But I can not get ANY input mic working on the system at all, while all other applications can use the mics just fine.. I used Voicemeeter to route my mic / desktop sound to a virtual mic.

I have:
- Checked all possible Windows settings.
- Removed Voicemeeter and rebooted.
- Removed virtual audio cable and rebooted.
- Removed all (sound/mic) drivers and rebooted.
- Reinstalled all, in different orders and rebooted. (I have rebooted so many times I am glad it's an SSD haha)

For now I have only installed VoiceMeeter Banana (without VAC) and the drivers again to start 'basic'.

- VoiceMeeter detects the devices just fine.
I have tried all driver modes.

- Still there is no input at all
Also, in the windows sound settings the input works instantly.. (I have tried setting the default input on other inputs as well)
Other applications like OBS also work instantly.
It seems that when any other application (Chrome, OBS) the something-is-using-the-mic icon pops up. But when opening Voicemeeter (Banana) nothing is happening in the icon tray. Maybe that is related?

- I have checked the privacy sound settings: here and here.

- And I have fiddled with these settings as wel.

What gives? I got this working almost instantly on the other PC. Am I losing my mind? Is there any log file I can check for more troubleshooting?

Still there is no input at all

Read the red text in the upper right corner of your own Banana screenshot.
Even if you have no plans to use it, you have to select a main hardware output!
Without main hardware output Voicemeeter does not work at all.
A red text always indicates a warning about a severe problem.
So, select A1 an everything should work fine!
