How can with the voicemeeter tape recorder record without the insert disable ?
How can with the voicemeeter tape recorder record without the insert disable ?
I use in the insert speaker correction. Is it possible to record with the voicemeeter tape recorder with a special setting so there need not disable the inserts ?. I disable all and choose for the recorder virtual input in pre fader input row
Re: How can with the voicemeeter tape recorder record without the insert disable ?
EDIT
I had written something here, but now I think I did not unterstand what you really want.
Do you want to record the hardware input with the Insert or without?

Maybe I had one beer too much Yesterday?
Anyway.
Now I guess I understand what you want:
Record the input without the Insert, but use the Insert for speaker correction at the same time.
I cannot give a detailed answer at the moment.
I am in the kitchen and have to cook dinner for my guests.
I have an idea how to do it, but cannot answer before 10 pm Berlin time.

Before I can answer we really need to know what you want!
Do you want to record the input without the Insert, but use the Insert for speaker correction at the same time?
Or what do you want?
Your English is so hard to understand.
It would be easier if someone could translate your original questions (your native language) to English for you.

If you record a BUS, you may use the COMPOSITE MODE to record any pre-fader input you want (COMPOSITE PATCH is in the system settings dialog box). But i'm not sure it is exactly what you want to do...user4711 wrote:I use in the insert speaker correction. Re: How can with the voicemeeter tape recorder record without the insert disable ?
Yes i wish record before the insert is process. but the insert should do the speaker correction for hearing, so i need not switch off inserts. it is usefull when want record a snippet quick from youtube or other.
to have high end speakers can use the Behringer MS40 speakers(which have a optical spdif) with speaker correction and btw you can see they are active and have a small knob on front, which can not reach easy, because the speakers are too far away. so need volume control with volume display complete on PC

at end can hear, they do lots bass boom at 100 hz but on 50 hz they need boost alot

I am already in the kitchen again.
The same procedure as Yesterday.
I have to cook for my guests.
I will have a solution for you at 10 pm Berlin time!
It gets a little bit complicated to keep low latency.
It would be much easier if you use a BUS EQ, because these are meant for speaker correction!

Re: How can with the voicemeeter tape recorder record without the insert disable ?
no problem for this! You can use a BUS (A1 for example) for monitoring... and another BUS (B1 for example) for recording... this last one can use COMPOSITE mode to be composed of pre-fader input channels...user4711 wrote:Yes i wish record before the insert is process. but the insert should do the speaker correction for hearing

Vincent, but only theoretically.Vincent Burel wrote:…to be composed of pre-fader input channels...
The problem is that pre-fader selection at least in the Tape Recorder includes INTELLIPAN, Comp., Gate and ASIO INSERT
So, is this a bug?
Still in the kitchen using my smartphone, I cannot check at the moment if PATCH COMPOSITE uses another definition for pre-fader selection than the Tape Recorder?
I assume that PATCH COMPOSITE uses the same definition as the Tape Recorder for pre-fader (would make sense).
Then this routing is at least unintentional.
I do not know if you can call it a bug.
But I would prefer that pre-fader selection everywhere in Voicemeeter options should mean the same definition:
The naked untouched input signal!
At the moment at least with Tape Recorder pre-fader selection includes INTELLIPAN, Comp., Gate and ASIO INSERT!
That is user4711's problem! - I will post a workaround at 1 am Berlin time - Sorry, you know I still have some guests here in my kitchen
It would also be much better to have the ASIO INSERT before INTELLIPAN, Comp. and Gate and not post!!!

Elvis has left the building!
I have just left my kitchen.
The guests stayed much longer than expected.
I had finally to call the police to get them out!
No, I am just kidding.
Back to reality:
As expected PATCH COMPOSITE uses the same definition for PRE-FADER selection as the Tape Recorder! Bingo!
So, PRE-FADER includes (unintentionally?) INTELLIPAN, Comp., Gate and ASIO INSERT
I do not believe, that this behaviour is intended, because Vincent would not give that advice for PRE-FADER selection, if he is aware that it includes ASIO INSERT (that user4711 wants to bypass for recording)!
So, I leave this (cluttered) thread (with misleading title) here and will open some new threads.
One or two feature request threads for changing this PRE-FADER definition and the FX routing order.
And one "how to bypass ASIO Insert for recording" thread that will give user4711 a quick solution.
Please, be patient because it will take some time!
And it is now 3.00 am in Europe.
Good Night!
