For some reason, I am unable to set Dante Virtual Soundcard as a WDM output in Voicemeeter Banana, I get the "Failed to Open Main Output Device" error. Using MME works, but I am hoping to use WDM for its far lower latency capabilities. I've included a shot of the error window below. Is Dante Virtual Soundcard's WDM driver just not compatible with Voicemeeter?

check it is not used by another app or
maybe should use the ASIO driver instead..

Same on my side. Voicemeeter Potato can't open DVS (Version 4.2.0.2) WDM output devices. I read in the Voicemeeter documentation, that voicemeeter tries to open the devices in exclusive mode. So it looks like another app is using the device already but I have no other sound application started.

ASIO is not an option because my primary device used by Voicemeeter is already an ASIO device.

How can I check which other application is using a device? Or did you find another solution for that?

this is maybe a question for Dante company as well...

however, we will offer a new application soon, able to manage several ASIO driver so, this could solve your problem...
