I have used VoiceMeeter Potato successfully for a couple years, routing audio from external microphones, YouTube, VLC Player and Windows Media Player to live Zoom sessions. A couple weeks ago the music from these platforms stopped playing through to Zoom, and only the lyrics are being heard.

I've spent hours trying to find a fix, but nothing has worked.

See the pics of my settings below along with suggestions from ChatGPT.

Is there an expert I can talk with for a donation to help figure this out? I need help with this ASAP as we run live Zoom sessions every day.

To get help on this problem, you may post screenshot of your voicemeeter and system settings to show and explain your configuration. also you may show your zoom configuration and your windows audio settings, especially to know what is your default playback and recording device.

Technical Issue:
For the past 2-3 weeks, when playing music from VLC Player, Windows Media Player, or YouTube, the song lyrics go to Zoom, but the music does not go thru.

Current Setup:
Two mics (Wave Link and Yeti), Chrome (YouTube), and VLC Player, all routed to Zoom
It appears that I can not add additional photos in this reply. I will send more in another reply.

This shows VLC Player in the AUX I strip sending music thru B2 to Zoom.

VI. Force Mono for Testing:

**There is no option to select mono on the strip carrying the music. I only see mono buttons on the Master Section strips

Send the music directly to a hardware output (e.g., your headphones or speakers) using A1/A2 to verify whether the issue is with the routing to Zoom or an internal processing error.

**I have VLC Player sending music to my TV (speaker), and it works well.

1.) Open the Advanced Options Panel
In the VoiceMeeter Potato interface, click on the Menu in the top-right corner. From the dropdown menu, select System Settings / Options.

2.) Enable Hidden Features
Look for options labeled as Hidden or Advanced in the System Settings window. These options include toggling advanced features such as:

· Advanced EQ settings.
· Exclusive audio mode.
· Latency adjustments.

To enable certain features like phase inversion buttons or other experimental functions, you may need to check specific toggles in this panel.

**I do not see 'hidden' or 'advanced' features anywhere.

3.) Show Phase Inversion Buttons
If the phase inversion buttons (small arrow icons) are not visible in the input strips:

A. Open the System Settings / Options panel.
B. Scroll to the Hidden Options or Advanced Parameters section.
C. Check for an option to show phase inversion or similar enhancements.

4.) Unlock Experimental Features
To enable experimental or debugging features:
Click Menu > Show/Hide Hidden Parameters.
You might need to restart VoiceMeeter to apply the changes.

REM1: it seems you have an installation problem, because you have old Voicemeeter VAIO driver installed and new one... this can produce unexpected behavior i guess. So you may uninstall Voicemeeter and check there is no more voicemeeter audio driver presence in Windows Device manager.

then install latest Voicemeeter version 3.1.1.9 and don't forget to reboot your computer after each step.

I uninstalled VMP per your instructions (and the instructions of the link viewtopic.php?t=381) and re-installed version 3.1.1.9 from VB-Audio:


It appears that the driver versions are all the same as previous install, as it came from your website:

After the reinstall, the technical issue is still there. Everything works except the music is not streaming through to Zoom.

I see that the VB-Audio Matrix VAIO driver is not installed. Do I need this?

Also, did you notice if the settings for Voicemeeter, Windows apps and Zoom are all correct?
