startup difficulty

When I wake my Win 10 from sleep. Bluetooth monitor says I am connected to listening device (Roberts Stream), but there's no sound connection. A Win restart does reconnect sound. I did have 'auto-restart' active in menu; is this correct? I inderstand that a startup delay is now incorporated in later versions; would this solve my problem? (currently 2.0.4.4).

yes, the startup delay (5s per default) is there to allow all other services start... before Voicemeeter attempt to use them.
